Members: All Society Members receive newsletters, invitations to Society events, and the annual publication that is mailed if not picked up at the publication celebration. Annual memberships begin at $50. All memberships are for individuals or couples. Membership operates on the calendar year, January 1 to December 31.
Donor Members: Donor Members are also acknowledged in the annual report. Donor memberships are $100.
Heritage Society Members: Heritage Society members are acknowledged in the annual report, AND receive an invitation to the annual Heritage Society gathering in an historic home. Heritage Society memberships are $500.
Corporate Members: are acknowledged in the annual report, AND are acknowledged each year on our website and via social media. Corporate members also receive a copy of the publication of their choice. Memberships start at $500 for a Corporate Member, $1000 for a benefactor, $2000 for a Sustainer, and $5000 for a Partner.
Corporate Sponsorships: Corporate Sponsors partner with the Birmingham Historical Society to produce publications, exhibits, and special events in addition to all the benefits above. Often Corporate Sponsors have a special interest in the publication or event venue, and receive marketing materials, historical research, and additional publicity for their contribution. Please contact the BHS Director regarding a Corporate Sponsorship.
Gift Memberships: introduce a friend or loved one to Society programs. The gift includes the annual publication, newsletters and invitations to Society events. They are $50.

We encourage all members to consider contributions to the Annual Fund; however, please note that membership is not a prerequisite for those who wish to support solely the enduring sustainability of the Birmingham Historical Society.
