Help preserve, learn from, and celebrate Birmingham’s past while helping shape its future

Members: All Society Members receive newsletters, invitations to Society events, and the annual publication that is mailed if not picked up at the publication celebration. Annual memberships begin at $40. All memberships are for individuals or couples. Membership operates on the calendar year, January 1 to December 31.


Donor Members: Donor Members receive newsletters, invitations to Society events, the annual publication AND are acknowledged in the annual report. Donor memberships are $100.


Heritage Society Members: Heritage Society members receive newsletters, invitations to special events, the annual publication, are acknowledged in the annual report, AND an invitation to the annual Heritage Society gathering in an historic home. Heritage Society memberships are $400.


Gift Memberships: introduce a friend or loved one to Society programs. The gift includes the annual publication, newsletters and invitations to Society events. They are $40.

You will have the option of entering the amount corresponding to your membership category, and then entering the credit card of your choice, or paying with a PayPal account.
